Leureuna Gilbert

Leureuna Gilbert has been a gospel evangelist in Churches of Christ for over 30 years. He has ministered to congregations in New Jersey (Sunset Rd. COC, 1996-2001), Virginia (Arlington Rd. COC, 2001-2016), and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (2017-2024).

He grew up in Rochester, NY and was added to the Church of Christ in 1977 at the age of twelve and began to preach at the age of thirteen. He is a graduate of Southwestern Christian College, The Community College of the Air Force, Trinity College of the Bible, and the School of Theology at Virginia Union (Master of Divinity 2017). He and his lovely wife Lia Ann have been married since 1989 and have three sons: William (Razia), Wesley, and Wynton, and one granddaughter, Noelle. He is a fitness enthusiast with a personal motto of "Fitness4Life!"; He furthered his studies at Palmer Theological Seminary (Eastern University) D.Min (ABD). He currently resides in the Houston, TX area (Conroe) where and continues to make an impact for the kingdom of God.

One of his favorite scriptures is Psalm 23:6 “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”
